CERAMIC PAINTED PANELS
Supaclad Ceramic Painted spandrel panels are coloured panels for use in curtain walling and can be used decoratively in kitchen and bathroom applications. In curtain walling applications they can be supplied either insulated or non-insulated. Panels are normally incorporated into hermetically sealed double glazing units but can supplied in single glazing format.
SupaClad panels are manufactured in accordance to BS 12150 Class1 specification for impact performance for use in buildings. Panels can also be used in areas where glass must comply with the safety glazing requirements of BS 6262: Part 4:1994 SupaClad Panels are produced using toughened glass on which the ceramic paint coating is fired onto the float glass substrate during the toughening process.
The result is a durable, scratch resistant permanent coloured coating. Spandrel Panels CANNOT be used in vision areas, otherwise inconsistencies in the paint thickness may become apparent.
