PHOTOVOLTAIC LAMINATES

Convert daylight into electricity. The laminates are custom made for each individual installation. Cells are of a standard size but spacing can be varied in each direction. The laminate can be incorporated into Double Glazed units, The front piece of glass is generally a heat strengthened low iron white glass, the second piece of glass can be of any type including Low 'E' coating to improve thermal performance.

The structural properties of Photovoltaic laminates are the same as for ordinary laminates of a similar size and thickness. Photovoltaic laminates enable conventional glass to be substituted with an efficient renewable energy source within a glazed structure.

Architectural applications include, Atria, Curtain Walling, Double Glazing, Structural Glazing, Skylights, Windows, and Glass Canopies.
